B”H Hello everyone! I love it when my readers read my mind! As I was working on this post, I received a message from one of my lovely readers … “Yael, could you please share with us more about the custom of baking challah in the shape of a key the week after Pesach (Passover)?” You asked and you shall have my dears!
Wednesday Wink || Giñada divina
B”H Hello everyone! Welcome to another installment of Wednesday Wink, JewishLatinPrincess’ series on Divine Providence (Hashgacha Pratit). Divine Providence means that G-d is involved in every detail of our lives, albeit His involvement is concealed within nature, or the natural order of creation. Thus, nothing in our lives is “coincidence”, although it may very well seem like it. ¡Hola a todas! Bienvenidas a otro episodio de Guiñada divina en JewishLatinPrincess.

Five Passover Sanity Savers || Cosas que me salvan la cordura en Pesaj
B”H Hello, everyone! How is Pesach going? It’s the second day of Chol Hamoed Pesach (intermediate days), so I wanted to share five small things that save my sanity on this busy holiday. The food is actually super delicious, but preparation is

I decided to make a small(ish) event in our back yard, so no-chametz on this birthday. No cookies, or cakes but no worries,

Spring Holiday Fashion || Ajuares primaverales para la fiesta
B”H Shavua Tov my friends! The month of Nissan has arrived! Did you know that the month of Nissan always falls in the Spring season (in the Land of Israel) because the Jewish calendar is adjusted in a super cool mathematical way, so that it should be that way? (More on calendar in my post here.) So, even if some of us are not feeling the Spring weather, apparently Spring is
