B”H
Many of you have commented lately how hard it is to find appropriate clothing for your daughters for the upcoming Passover Holiday. To some, it might be because you want to adhere to the laws of modesty; and to some, it’s simply because you want your girls to look beautiful and refined, modesty aside, especially when it comes to our special Holidays! I hear you all!
It is hard to find beautiful and refined clothes for girls nowadays. And yes, it’s important to honor the Holiday by wearing fine clothing and to teach that to our daughters as well. So here’s where today’s post comes in. Today I’m hosting a fabulous giveaway with Dainty Jewell’s, where TWO JLP readers can win one item of your choice from Dainty Jewell’s collection – be it for yourself, or your daughter!
When Dainty Jewell’s approached me to do a pre-Passover giveaway for JLP readers, I went gah gah over this dress and the skirt I’m about to show you for my own daughters.
There are many other things in their site that I know you will love, but I am so pleased with what I chose for my girls for the upcoming Holiday.
I think this dress is the perfect outfit for Passover Seder. It is a truly magical night and as I’ve said here before, the evening is intended to be for the children. So, let our kids also dress in their finest and enjoy the beautiful experience of the Passover Seders.
I love the blush color as it feels exactly like Spring, Aviv, the season of our Redemption. It’s such a subtle, feminine, elegant dress. At the same time, my girls love that it is so comfortable! I got many many smiles from those adorable girls for having chosen this for them. I have to tell you, I was going to take pictures of a “mock Seder,” but the weather in Houston has been so beautiful and the bluebonnets are out. I couldn’t resist, and we had to go out and shoot outdoors. I am so happy that we did!
Now when it comes to Yom Tov day and/or the Second Night Seder, I chose something a bit more relaxed, yet still fancy enough for the occasion.
This gorgeous skirt from their Spring collection is everything a girl could dream of! Since the skirt itself is a statement and the color is so stunning and fresh, I paired it with a simple top that still let the skirt shine. At the same time I wanted to use a contrasting color that would keep the outfit modern and current.
Navy and coral will always be winners in my book, and it’s such a perfect Spring combination. I loved how the outfits for the girls came out. (Both shirts are from Crazy 8 and headbands are from Kid to Kid in Houston.)
I can’t wait to see my girls grace us both Seder Nights with their beautiful new outfits.
And now, you have the opportunity to choose something for your daughters (and/or for yourself) for this Passover. But act fast since this giveaway is only running for five days, until Sunday, April, 17 at 11:59 pm, to give you time to get your items before next Friday night! Rushed, I know…. Listen, it’s Passover after all ;-). I can’t wait to see who the two winners are, and what you choose. As always, we’ve given you multiple chances to enter. However, be sure to enter your JLP subscription, as the drawing will be made for JLP subscribers ONLY. Contest is open to readers with a U.S. Postal Address only. The two winners will be announced on Monday, April 18, 2016. Good Luck!
Oh and for those of you with little patience and/or in case you don’t win, Dainty Jewell’s is generously offering a 10% discount on all orders from today, April 12, until Thursday, April 21, 2016. Use the code JLPblog at checkout. Enjoy!
