B”H Some of you might remember me from my long distance running days. Any one who has done any type of endurance training knows that while the physical training is important, there comes a point when the body wants to give up. At that point, the brain kicks in says, “Don’t give up. You can go another mile. You can go another two miles. The end is very near.” Before you know

Have a Great Day and other Jewish ideas || Que tengan un buen día y otras ideas judías
B”H It never seizes to amaze me how this world is in essence a G-dly place, and how everything we do can be transformed into G-dliness. In fact, if I had to say, why I started writing this blog in one sentence, I would say… “To show how this physical world is a spiritual world, just waiting to be revealed.” Nunca dejo de maravillarme al ver que este mundo es en su

Garlic Challah Knots
B”H Shavua Tov, my friends! This past Shabbat my friend hosted a beautiful Shabbat Kallah– that is the ladies’ gathering the Shabbat prior to a wedding, honoring the Kallah (bride). It’s always beautiful to share with the kallah (bride) on that Shabbat afternoon. Topped with pomegranate seeds, the mousse was heaven! After my kids finished seconds, I said to Rosanna, “I need this recipe!” ¡Shavua Tov, amigas! Si vinieron referidas por Florence & Isabelle, ¡bienvenidas! ¡Hoy les tengo una

Sitting in my Sukkah…
B”H It’s early Sunday morning and I’m enjoying the cool weather outside while I sit in my Sukkah. The kids are all sleeping, as we’ve had many magical, yet long nights this past week. I came to soak in the precious peace of this wonderful place. One of my hachlatas (resolutions) for the new year is to endeavor to always be in the moment, experience the present. And at this moment, as I sit here under the Sukkah, I feel truly
