B”H
The days of your Bubbie’s silver are gone, and Acrylic Judaica is in and here to stay! Acrylic has always been one of my favorite materials, and years ago I started adding acrylic pieces to my home. First a table, then this tray, then, ghost chairs… And slowly for surely, I’ve moved to the Judaica! Four years ago I treated myself this acrylic shmurah matza box and I love it! Then, I bought a tzedakah box, and of course, I have a mezuzah case. So, you can say I’m a pretty big fan of the material. Here are a few Acrylic Judaica pieces to swoon over!
1- Shema Art by Fridzart – I was already a fan of Fridzart’s challah boards and Seder Plate, but then I saw this acrylic art piece of the verse Shema Israel… wow! Such a cool addition to the Jewish home. (you can see them in their full glory and colors in some pictures of my event in Aventura, FL here.)
2- Challah Board – Apeloig Collection, already rocking the market with their beautiful acrylic mezuzot, launched this gorgeous Challah Board with a matching knife. The design is so pretty! And the colors… hard to chose a favorite!
3- Square Matza Case – if your family eats square matza, this is pretty cute.
4- Shmurah Matzah Box – The picture doesn’t do it justice. I love having this on my table full of shmurah matza throughout Passover. It’s so clean and pretty!
5- Mezuzah Case – A favorite around here! Remember this giveaway? I also did a Mi casa es Su casa post with the designers and founders of this collection, the Apeloig sisters.
6- Tzedakah Box – this one is so pretty, I should take a picture of mine and send it to you. I love the more modern look of this acrylic tzedakah box, as opposed to the more traditional wooden or silver ones.
7- Kids’ Acrylic Ambulance Tzedakah Box – for a boys’ room! Wouldn’t this make a cute Upshernish or other kids’ birthday gift?
8- Challah Tray by Fridzart – I discovered these when I went to speak in Aventura, FL last year, and fell in love with them then. The design, the colors… she’s an incredible artist. I think my favorite is the eggplant color.
9- Seder Plate – this is a show stopper! FridzArt sponsored an item for the raffle that I ran at my last speaking engagement. We gave away this Seder Plate in emerald green and it was stunning! The lady who won was beyond excited!
10- Menorah – I’ve mentioned this Jonathan Adler acrylic menorah before. I still love it.
Do you think this trend is here to stay? What would you choose for your home? Have you found other nice acrylic judaica pieces I need to know about?
Chodesh Tov!
P.S.
