Shavua Tov, everyone! Did you realize that we’ll be celebrating the New Year in just three months!? You might remember my calendar rant dilema from this post. I am still faithful to my calendar/agenda that I worked so hard to “customize” then. I have it with me all the time. But that might change very soon…

¡Shavua Tov, amigas!

Imagine my surprise and delight a few days ago, when I found out that someone with a similar dilema created beautifully designed calendars that incorporate the Hebrew dates along with the secular American dates. Yes! I know Dena from her beautiful blog Chai & Home and when I saw the calendars that she designed I immediately knew I had to share them with you.

This is the Jewish Wall Calendar and I like it… I like it so so much! It even comes with the bulldog clip (which I’m a fan of, btw… a lot of my kids’ art is hung with bulldogs. I love the look!).

¡me gusta mucho!

And then there is this beauty- The Jewish Calendar Planner/Pad. Can we say soul mates, please?

Y luego está esta belleza- The Jewish Calendar Planner/Pad. ¡Osea, amor a primera vista!

I mean did you see that design!? Simple, clean, black and white with gold binding… Yes, Please! Just what I look for in a calendar- uncluttered, uncluttered, but with the important information (yes those English and Hebrew dates, amigas!)… only way for me to be creative. We talked about this here, didn’t we!? ;-) Oh and the pages tear out when you finish the month! Is it normal that this has me so excited!?

Good Job Dena! Dena has more calendars and other beautiful creations in her Etsy shop. You can check them all out and order your favorite here. Dena ships internationally, a super plus for all of you lovely ladies living abroad. And if you’re not following her blog- Chai & Home– yet, you should! It is absolutely lovely!

¡Buen trabajo, Dena!

What do you say? Would you gift yourself such beauties or you don’t mind cross-checking between your calendar and the Jewish calendar that your synagogue sends you in the mail?

I loved being part of your podcast, I had no idea what to expect and it was refreshing as a Jewish woman to participate in your podcast. Your questions related to what I do, combined with Judaism gave me a lot to think about. I love getting new questions instead of the typical “why did you start the project?” which is important but I’m glad you gave it a twist. I hope your listeners enjoy the interview as much as I enjoyed being part of it! Thanks for challenging me to think about my topic and religion as one.
