B”H
Looking for some good uplifting reads this quarantine? Look no more cuz these are my favorites of the “season.” I know I haven’t posted books here for a very long time (although I have on Instagram). It doesn’t mean that I haven’t been reading. It’s just that I went through ups and downs in my reading, and not much really inspired me when I read it, until this quarantine! Yah, this is how I’ve coped: sticking my head inside books. I’ve armed myself with super great reads and I’m loving each and every one of these. I think you will too!
With All Due Respect by Nikki Haley
You won’t be able to put it down! And you’ll be sad when it ends. You just want to her to keep going and going… and hey run for President for that matter.
A Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
I had read this book many years ago, in my early twenties. I honestly don’t think I had the maturity to really benefit from the wisdom in this book, which makes me kind of disappointed at myself. But hey, I’ve grown a lot since then, so let’s leave it at that. In any case, it was great to finally read it again and with a more mature head. If you’ve never read it, which I doubt, then perhaps this is a great time.
I Love When That Happens by Schwartzie
Charming, delightful… I’m so glad I finally read this book. You will smile big all throughout the book. Great inspiring read about an amazing person. Read what I said about it here.
Don’t Keep Your Day Job by Cathy Heller
I’m almost done with this one and I’m loving it. I’d been meaning to read it for a while, but after I had Cathy on Jewish Latin Princess Podcast last week, I was compelled to finally read it and I’m glad I did. It’s full of inspiration and actionable steps for the creative who really wants to pursue their passion and make a living at it! You know I’m all for that! P.S. My interview with Cathy is beyond awesome. Catch it on Jewish Latin Princess Podcast right here.
Hello, Fears by Michelle Poler
You know I’m big on facing fears, so you knew I was going to read this, right? But, I was so moved that Michelle chose my review to put in the cover of her book! In fact, she didn’t even know it was me who wrote it when she chose it. Check out the true story behind how my review ended up im Michelle’ book here. P.S. Catch Michelle on Jewish Latin Princess Podcast right here.
Now, tell me what have you read this quarantine? What should be my next read?
