Chen Z Designs

B”H

Looking for a cute Bat Mitzvah Gift or a unique hostess gift for the High Holidays? Well, have you heard about ChenZ Designs? If you had, why hadn’t you told me!? ChenZ Designs is brand of handcrafted jewelry with Jewish symbols, or what Creator Chen Zucker calls, “Handcrafted Jewish Jewelry,” and it’s so fun! I just love the idea of stacking many of these bracelets together and well, I love me some charms too! I also love a cute gift, either a “me to me,” or a “me to friend.” And when it comes from Israel, well, even better! Chen Z Designs is not just bracelets though, it’s a little bit of everything for the lady who, as Chen says, wants to “combine fashion with tradition.” And today, TWO of you will get to win your choice of one of ChenZ Design’s bracelets!!!

Here are the simple rules of entry:

1- Chose the bracelet you’d love to win from ChenZ Designs collection and tell me in the comments section below this blog post.

2- Subscribe to JLP’s newsletter here:

Like many of us, Chen is a fan of color and jewelry. And as you all know when you live in Israel, like Chen, you see vibrant color all around you, so that appreciation for color becomes part of you. At the same time, Israel and her Jewish identity are, “a big part of who I am.” Yet, how did both of these get merged into a custom jewelry line?

Chen Z Designs

Chen Z Designs

Chen always loved beads, colors and custom jewelry. As a teenager used to take apart necklaces and combine them with others to create new designs. (Why didn’t I ever think of this!?) But, she never really thought of making a career out of this.  Except a few years ago, when her son moved to work abroad, he asked her if she could send some things he could give out as gifts – in particular something that was fun, unique, and representative in some ways of his Jewish identity.

So, Chen created a few wrap bracelets adorned with the Star of David, for him to give out to friends. Well what do you know!? Everyone went crazy for the bracelets and wanted to know where they could get more. In no time, Chen decided that she needed to put this out to the world and so she did!

Chen Z Designs Jewelry

Chen’s studio is in the outdoors of her home in the small city of Hadera, not far from the ocean and surrounded by the greenery and colors of her garden. (Can I go visit, please?) Her collection is made with high quality materials such as: leather, crystals, semi-precious stones and metal plated with sterling silver and 24-karat gold.

I’m no minimalist when it comes to jewelry, and not scared of color, so I would happily stack these like so:

Chen Z Designs

But, there are a ton of options to chose from in the website. And as I told you before, today you get to chose whichever lovely bracelet from ChenZ Designs’ entire collection you love and enter to win!

I also love these cute beaded necklaces. (Oh and they are on sale!)

Chen Z Designs Jewish Latin Princess

I think so many of ChenZ Design’s pieces would make a great Bat Mitzvah gift. Don’t you think? Or, even a hostess gift for the High Holidays, if your host is a fun person who loves custom jewelry, especially the stackable kind (like me haha). Oh and it get’s better, Chen is able to customize her jewelry, so you can tell her colors and charm messages and she will make you the special gift for your loved one.

Plus, look at how lovely these come packaged. It’s all in the details, my friends.

Chen Z Designs Gift Box

So again, two lucky ladies will win one bracelet with love from ChenZ Designs. Follow only two simple steps to enter:

1- Chose the bracelet you’d love to win from ChenZ Designs and tell me in the comments section below this blog post.

2- Subscribe to JLP’s newsletter here:

Contest ends Thursday, August 30 at 9:00 pm ET.

This contest is only open to JLP newsletter subscribers and the winners will be notified via email on Thursday, August 30.

Every single bracelet that you show is positively adorable! Stylistically, they make me think of a specific teacher who has a strong impression my girls – they are just so HER. If I won, I would choose the green and beige one with the ‘Mazal’ charm – and give it to her as a back-to-school gift.

Yael can be defined as “refreshing inspiration.” She is well-versed in an array of topics from Jewish femininity to design details. Every time I hear her at a speaking engagement or in passing conversation, she always brings an awareness of Jewish femininity to the forefront, constantly reminding women of their spiritual role and importance in ‘everyday’ things. I was thrilled that she passed this concept on, along with her deep knowledge of Judaism, to my daughter during their Bat Mitzvah lessons together. Yael always rises to the occasion (no pun intended) with her eye for design and attention to details. Her subtle palette, creativity and organizational skills are her recipe to success!

My daughter Stav had her Bat Mitzvah a few months ago.  I wanted Stav to go into her 'Bat Mitzvah' understanding the meaning of the term, and with the knowledge of how to apply it to her life. Even though she learns in a Jewish Orthodox school, I felt that she needed extra learning and inspiration for her coming of age.  Luckily, I knew Yael from before, and heard that she teaches Bat Mitzvah classes.  I had a feeling that this would be a good match... I wasn't wrong :)

Yael teaches ancient ideas in a modern way.  Stav came back from classes inspired, thinking and asking herself questions.  I'm thankful that my daughter had the opportunity to learn with Yael for her Bat Mitzvah in a interesting, welcoming and inspiring way.

  • Kayla WarrenKayla Warren

Yael has creativity, vision, and energy, and she uses them all to the fullest for her clients. She came up with the color scheme, all the accessories, the overall “look” of the day, and I just happily and gratefully followed along. But I don’t want you to think it’s only what Yael wants, Yael does. She asked me for input every step of the way. She always checked in with me about what she was buying, what she thought we should have at the party, and she was always conscious of budget. I wanted everything she suggested, but I know that if there had been anything I wasn’t keen to have, she would have changed it until she found something that I loved. She wanted my daughter and me to be happy with everything. We weren’t happy – that’s too meager a word – we were elated!!! Working with Yael was such a pleasant and joyful experience. And those are two words I don’t use lightly when it comes to describing planning an event.
